- A TCP/IP network connection, with a hard-wired LAN recommended
- Voice bandwidth of 100 Kbps (G.711) or 32 Kbps (G.729), with video calling bandwidth estimated at 600 Kbps
- Allowed network ports in the range 40,000 to 65,535, with outbound firewall UDP port 5080 open for SIP signaling
- UDP port 5060 open for the SIP softphone, with QoS router configurations recommended for UDP packets
- A professional series headset with USB connectivity, such as Plantronics EncorePro 500 series, Jabra Biz 2300 series, or Sennheiser SC 230/260 USB series
