**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to US-based members and providers who have questions about their health, wellness, pre-authorizations, copayments, and prescription plan/coverage. **Responsibilities**
As a Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering inbound calls in both English and Spanish from US customers and addressing questions and concerns regarding their healthcare benefits.
* Actively listening to customers to understand their concerns and build a rapport that will make them feel heard and cared for.
* Providing essential information to members regarding access to care issues, benefits, proof of coverage, member handbook, etc.
* Guiding callers through troubleshooting, navigating self-service options, using company site and/or using products or services.
* Utilizing client-specific knowledge systems to research and review multiple documents to better serve the customer while keeping the customer engaged.
* Following instructions provided through documented processes and procedures to ensure all compliance is met for government audits.
* Empathizing and resolving concerns to simplify the customer's healthcare experience.
* Navigating through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
* Adapting to learn new call types when business needs change and flex support in those areas.
**Work at Home Requirements**
To ensure a seamless and productive work experience, we require:
* High-Speed Internet with at least 25 Mbps download speed and 15 Mbps upload speed (no satellite, Wi-Fi, or cellular/wireless carrier internet services).
* A hard-wired internet connection via Ethernet cable to modem/router that you own/are responsible for (arenaflex will ship you company equipment to use).
* A dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions.
* A USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone.
**Additional Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or its equivalent.
* Fluency in both English and Spanish.
* Minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a health plan call center agent (member service, provider service, pharmacy plan member service).
* Medicare and/or Medicaid experience would be a plus.
* Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
* High computer proficiency and navigation of multiple applications.
* Willingness to work any shift between 10:00 am-1:00 am, 7 days a week, Eastern Standard Time, plus holidays and weekends (on holidays, extended hours 24/7 to small staff).
* Professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette.
* Customer-focused personality and a desire to help people.
