They are seeking an Events Coordinator to serve as a support role to the event manager for various association and corporate clients, managing event logistics and client interactions. Responsibilities - Serve in a support role to event manager on an array of events ranging from fully in-person, virtual or a hybrid model - Work with department technologies and tools, virtual event platforms, registration platforms, exhibit floor module and event mobile apps, etc - Respond to registration email inquiries. Make registration record updates, cancellations, refunds, etc - Maintain registration and housing tracking reports - Manage VIP rooming lists, requirements, hospitality services - Maintain department files and historical event documentation - Source variety of event materials such as lanyards, sponsorship items, etc - Coordinate department functions such as event supplies, shipping, event cancellation insurance, etc - Actively participate in monthly client meetings - Travel onsite to events, support onsite activations - Maintain department files - All other duties as assigned Skills - 1-5 years of event experience - VIP customer service, ability to deliver white glove service - Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact in a firm but highly collaborative fashion - Team focus but independent judgment and vision - Solutions-oriented, creative problem solver - Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced, dynamically, changing environment - Eager to learn with a desire for career growth in the events industry - Team-focused with independent judgment and vision - Solutions-oriented and creative problem solver - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues - Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability in changing environments - Experience in association or corporate markets and multi-client environment preferred - Experience working in Cvent and/or Map Your Show, a plus - Cvent, Map Your Show or other event technologies, a plus Benefits - PTO - 13 paid company holidays, including closure Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day - 401K - Medical, dental, vision and supplementary insurances - Employer-paid group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability - Employer-paid family building benefit (fertility, adoption and surrogacy) - Employer-paid mental health benefit - Pet discount program Company Overview - MCI USA engage and activate their target audiences, building community and boosting client performance.
