Role: Kafka + ETL Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Kafka + ETL Developer with strong experience in Apache Kafka, CockroachDB/relational databases, and ETL development using IBM DataStage. The ideal candidate will design and support scalable data integration pipelines and real-time data streaming solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
Develop and support ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
Integrate streaming data pipelines with CockroachDB and other relational databases.
Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming data.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing workflows and pipelines.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of data integration solutions.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event streaming.
Experience developing ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
Hands-on experience with CockroachDB or relational databases.
Strong SQL and database querying skills.
Experience building data pipelines and integration solutions.
Preferred Skills
Experience with distributed database systems.
Knowledge of data streaming architectures.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments.
