Position Title: Entry-Level Part-Time Recruiter
Position Overview:
S2Technologies is actively seeking a highly organized, people-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time, entry-level recruiter. This role is designed as a training ground for someone who wants to build a career in talent acquisition. You'll work closely with our current recruiter to learn our approach to hiring and help us identify, engage, and hire top talent.
Position Responsibilities:
• Support full-cycle recruitment activities for cleared and non-cleared positions. Support sourcing efforts (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals)
• Source candidates using job boards (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn), internal databases, and professional networks
• Review resumes and conduct initial outreach to candidates (email + messaging)
• Coordinate and schedule interviews and manage candidate communication
• Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records with accuracy and timeliness
• Assist in drafting and posting job announcements aligned with contract requirements
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with OFCCP, EEO, and federal hiring guidelines
• Assist with interview coordination and follow-ups
• Support onboarding activities including offer letters, background checks, and documentation tracking
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future contract needs
• Participate in career fairs, virtual recruiting events, and outreach initiatives
Position Requirements:
• 0-2 years of recruiting, HR, or administrative experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with job boards and sourcing platforms
• High attention to detail and organization
• Comfortable learning new tools and systems
• Professional, reliable, and responsive
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Skills:
• Experience supporting government contracting or staffing for federal programs
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., iCIMS, Taleo, Workday)
• Understanding of security clearance processes (e.g., Secret, TS/SCI)
• Knowledge of basic employment laws and compliance requirements
• Customer service or client-facing experience
• Familiarity with LinkedIn or basic sourcing tools
Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation
