Director of Machine Learning
We’re looking for a Director of ML who can build from scratch, go deep technically, and hire and mentor a small, extremely strong team. This is a hands-on leadership role.
What you’ll do
- Own the ML roadmap end to end, from problem definition to production.
- Design and ship recommendation systems and other core ML products.
- Start very hands-on: prototype, code, and iterate quickly.
- Hire and grow a high‑ownership ML team.
- Raise the technical bar (architecture, reviews, standards, strategy).
What you’ll bring
- Strong ML engineering background with production systems at scale.
- Experience in recommender systems, pricing, ads, or similar domains.
- Clear zero‑to‑one experience (founder/early stage or building new ML products/teams).
- Track record in fast‑paced, high‑ownership startups.
