Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in delivering AI-powered solutions tailored for credit unions and community banks. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth by forging strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and positioning our innovative solutions as essential tools for financial institutions aiming to modernize their operations. Your leadership will accelerate our expansion into this vital sector, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of community-focused financial organizations.
Compensation
• For the 1st year all compensation would be 100% revenue based on the client projects that you would help to get and deliver.
• After 1st year, based on company's progress we can consider formal corporate positions with market standard salary and equity etc.
Duties
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies focused on AI solutions for credit unions and community banks.
• Identify and cultivate new client relationships through targeted outreach, industry networking, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead sales initiatives by presenting tailored AI solutions, demonstrating value propositions, and closing high-impact deals.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to craft compelling messaging that highlights the benefits of AI-driven financial services.
• Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking of progress.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements that align with client needs while maximizing company growth objectives.
• Oversee project management activities related to client onboarding, implementation timelines, and post-sales support to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Skills
• Experience in doing consultative selling and professional services selling with Credit Unions and Community Banks.
• Proven expertise in business development within the financial technology or AI sectors, especially targeting credit unions and community banks.
• Strong knowledge of CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales processes.
• Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
• Demonstrated success in sales negotiations, closing deals, and building long-term client partnerships.
• Effective project management capabilities to coordinate cross-functional teams during solution deployment.
• Deep understanding of customer relationship management principles combined with marketing acumen to promote AI solutions effectively.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards relevant to financial institutions.
• Knowledgeable in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance related AI and Data Analytic solutions and use cases such as Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC), Document processing automation using AI solutions, Customer Onboarding, KYC, Risk assessment, Transaction monitoring, Anti Money Laundering AI solutions, Fraud Detection, Advanced Data Analytics solutions, Personalized Customer experience and support using conversational AI, Chatbots, Natural Language Processing, Loan and Insurance Underwriting, Claims Processing etc.
