The Joy Culture Foundation Development Manager
San Francisco Bay Area | Remote
The Joy Culture Foundation (TJCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Chinese-speaking families in the San Francisco Bay Area through youth leadership programs, cultural education, and community events. We believe that “it takes a village to raise a child,” and TJCF aims to be that village for families in our community.
We are seeking a part-time Development Manager (10-20 hours/week) to help grow TJCF’s fundraising efforts, strengthen donor relationships, and build partnerships with local businesses and community sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
• Support TJCF’s fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategy
• Manage donor communications and stewardship efforts
• Assist with donor outreach and relationship building
• Help develop and manage business sponsorship partnerships with local companies and community organizations
• Support fundraising campaigns and donor programs (such as the Visionary Donor Circle)
• Assist with grant research and applications
• Help coordinate fundraising events and community engagement activities
Qualifications
• Passion for community impact and nonprofit work
• Experience in fundraising, partnerships, sponsorships, or nonprofit development preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized and able to work independently
• Experience working with Asian American or bilingual communities is a plus
• Mandarin language ability is a plus

• Remote (but has to live in SF Bay Area)
