Development Manager (Non profit Fundraising)
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Remote - US)
Target Annual Earnings: Earn up to $75,000 annually to reach our funding goal of $600k.
Monthly Retainer: $3,000 per month (Base compensation).
Growth Incentive: This role is eligible for a performance-based milestone bonus equivalent to 5% of total funds deposited from the Managers managed contacts and secured partnerships
Overview
Who is FLAC? The Family Led Autism Collective (FLAC) is a non-profit dedicated to revolutionizing support systems and advocacy for the autism community through parent-driven initiatives. We bridge the gap between clinical needs and real-world family empowerment to ensure every individual on the spectrum can thrive.
What You Will Own
• Identify, research, and apply for high-impact grants while managing the full lifecycle of relationships.
• Proactively engage and secure commitments from individual, corporate, and community partners through outbound messaging and face-to-face meetings.
• Refresh and refine our website copy, marketing language, and pitch materials to ensure a high-conversion, professional presence. Identify and help produce additional research and materials as needed.
• Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising roadmap to diversify revenue streams.
The Skills You Bring
• Minimum of 3+ years in professional fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in grant writing, corporate sponsorships, and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) donor relations.
• Ability to translate complex advocacy goals into compelling narratives for both digital and print media.
• Nice to have: A deep understanding of the autism community; lived experience as a parent of someone on the ASD spectrum is highly preferred.
• Nice to have: secured a verified lifetime funding total exceeding $1M.
What Success Looks Like
• Secure a minimum of $600k in total donations and grants within the first 12 months.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Complete a full audit and update of all digital and physical marketing assets within the first 90 days.
• Establish a consistent monthly pipeline of qualified corporate and individual donor prospects.
