Job Overview

As a Data Entry Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps, and contributing to innovative GIS projects. You will collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions, ensuring that your work has a direct impact on the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Produce high-quality maps and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to understand their needs and develop solutions
• Contribute to innovative GIS projects, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive success
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving
• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, meeting deadlines and productivity standards
• Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and procedures

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or a related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in data entry, GIS, or a related field
