Corteva Agriscience is seeking a full-time Data Engineer II to leverage data engineering and machine learning expertise. The role focuses on implementing advanced analytics and AI technologies to enhance data accessibility and quality for scientific and business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise in data engineering and machine learning to implement advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to address scientific and complex business problems and drive innovation for Corteva
- Enhance data accessibility and quality, enabling seamless integration of large-scale datasets into data products, machine learning models, and artificial intelligence applications
Skills
- Master's degree or equivalent in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1 year related agriculture experience
- 12 months of experience with developing ETL pipelines using modern data stack (spark, trino, dagster, dbt, iceberg)
- 12 months of experience with data modelling, storage and processing of life sciences/agriculture data (genomics, satellite imagery, geospatial, biological)
- 12 months of experience supporting and developing PowerBI, Rshiny, spotfire dashboards that utilize Lakehouse Data
- 12 months of experience using dagster for data orchestration for scheduling data pipelines and using Gitlab for code version control, and Docker, Kubernetes for deployment
- 12 months of experience utilizing the following technologies: Python (PySpark), Trino/SparkSQL, AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, EKS), Azure (Data Factory, ADLS, PowerBI, Databricks), DBT, Dagster, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, FastAPI, and Django
