As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, and obtaining authorizations as needed.
• Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
• Utilize superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and meeting financial and clinical expectations.

Essential Qualifications

• One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
• One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
• One year of computer keyboarding experience, with demonstrated skills and aptitude.
• Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
