We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to generate, develop and secure long-term, multi-year partnerships that drive sustained revenue growth for medneo, with an initial focus on Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs), population screening programmes, and strategic system-wide partnerships.
This is a senior, outward-facing role requiring direct engagement with NHS Trust Executives, Divisional Leaders and Integrated Care Board (ICB) leadership. You will position medneo as a trusted long-term diagnostic partner, designing sustainable solutions across mobile, modular and static service models that align with NHS priorities, population health objectives and system transformation goals.

What you’ll be doing...
Major Accountabilities
Community Diagnostics and Screening Partnerships
- Identify and secure multi-year revenue opportunities focused on Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) and screening programmes.
- Develop partnership models aligned to ICB and system-level strategies for population health and early diagnosis.
- Work with clinical and operational teams to ensure services meet national and local screening and governance requirements.
Long-Term Partnership Development
- Convert short-term service arrangements into longer-term diagnostic partnerships supported at Trust and ICB level.
- Structure agreements that align clinical outcomes, financial sustainability, and system priorities.
- Act as the senior commercial lead for complex, multi-year, or multi-site partnerships.
Senior Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead strategic discussions with NHS Trust Divisional Managers and Executives, ICB leadership, and system partners, including COO, Medical Directors, Directors of Diagnostics, and commissioning leads.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with senior NHS decision-makers.
- Influence service design and commissioning approaches through credible, informed engagement.
Commercial Leadership
- Own the long-term partnership pipeline from opportunity identification through to contract signature.
- Develop and present robust business cases and financial models suitable for Trust and ICB-level decision-making.
- Lead or support commercial negotiations in collaboration with legal, finance, and delivery teams.
Strategic Market Contribution
- Maintain current understanding of national and regional NHS diagnostics and screening policy, including CDC and cancer screening programmes.
- Represent medneo in senior NHS forums, system meetings, and industry events.
- Contribute to UK growth strategy, forecasting, and prioritisation of long-term opportunities.
About you...
Essential
- Proven experience engaging and negotiating with senior NHS decision-makers, including ICB-level stakeholders
- Strong track record of developing and securing multi-year partnerships within NHS diagnostics, community services or screening
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience developing service models, business cases and financial proposals for complex diagnostic or screening services
- Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management capability
Desirable
- Experience in Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) delivery or cancer screening programmes
- Knowledge of NHS screening pathways, population health initiatives and commissioning processes
- Understanding of NHS procurement and contracting frameworks
- Financial modelling and commercial analysis expertise
