Job Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Assistant to support Commercial Account Managers and Sales Leads in delivering high-quality service to clients. This role involves assisting with account management, quoting, policy processing, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Support account management activities, including preparation of commercial proposals and creation of certificates.
- Maintain organized client files and documentation.
- Assist in quoting and bind preparation, including submissions to the commercial market.
- Review quotes for discrepancies and communicate findings to Account Managers and Sales Leads.
- Generate replacement cost evaluations, driving history reports, and finance agreements as required.
- Perform administrative tasks such as email and SMS management, data entry, and policy checking.
- Provide project and operational support to the team as needed.
- Collaborate with team members through regular meetings and contribute to team discussions.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and process accurate documentation.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while maintaining collaboration with the team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of commercial insurance products (e.g., Property, Liability, Workers’ Compensation, EPLI, D&O, Auto, Marine).
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Outlook, and NowCerts.
- Experience in data entry, policy processing, or insurance-related roles.
