We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on 9 Apr 2026. A Day in the Life We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. This remote position requires residence within the territory and driving to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential. Position Description Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist the district in meeting Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) sales and customer service objectives. Clinical Specialists are required to be in their assigned territory daily, be available for unscheduled needs, work weekends and holidays as directed, and may cover weeknight calls when needed. Responsibilities Technical Support • Successfully complete CRM Field Technical Training – online and field‑based • Perform checks/interrogations of all CRM medical device systems post sign‑off • Support implants of all CRM products post sign‑off • Provide on‑call support during evenings and weekends post sign‑off • Provide troubleshooting support as requested Operational Support • Assure completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation • Help manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtained • Provide additional inventory support to meet customer needs • Maintain software on programmers throughout the district as directed • Assist with managing daily coverage logistics as needed Educational Support • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products or solutions for which training has been completed • Assist with educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign‑off Sales Support • Partner with DSM, Sales Reps and DM to learn market dynamics and customer motivations; understand how Medtronic CRM products offer value • Assist with obtaining customer POs throughout the quarter • Have a basic understanding of the competitive landscape • Identify customer needs and opportunities and provide feedback to Sales Rep(s) to support sales objectives Ongoing Technical Development • Stay up to date on new products, solutions and patient management offerings • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner • Perform other related duties as assigned MUST HAVE – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma + minimum 6 years of relevant experience in healthcare, field sales, or complex mathematics/engineering/science/computing • Associate’s Degree + minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the same areas • Bachelor’s Degree + minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the same areas NICE TO HAVE – DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry • Proven ability to build/maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levels • Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position • Expertise with Microsoft tools & other applications (e.g., SalesForce.com) • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast‑paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS • Frequent required travel to customer clinics, hospitals and offsite meetings; independent and mobile • Continuous verbal and written communication • Frequent 2‑handed lifting of up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table or between surfaces of same level • Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight+ hours per day • Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation precautions • Ability to wear 7‑9 lbs of lead for extended periods while in the operating room • Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls • Effective use of mobile phone, PC, keyboard and mouse • Frequent bending/stooping, squatting and maintaining balance • Visual acuity: close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment for travel and PC use • Must drive approx. 80% of time within assigned territory and have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS • Minimum travel of 10% BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Salary range for U.S. locations (excl. PR): $72,000 – $90,000. In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
