Zurich Canada is a leading global insurance provider seeking candidates for their Claims Training Program. This program offers an opportunity to learn about handling claims in Commercial Insurance through a combination of classroom training and on-the-job development.
Responsibilities
- Learn all aspects of handling claims by following Zurich's best practices
- Handle low complexity claims after an initial training period
- Provide a high level of customer service to insureds and claimants
- Engage in active and continuous conversations with leadership to develop a growth plan
- Learn technical claims excellence and industry best practices from experienced professionals
- Develop partnerships across organizational levels and functions
Skills
- Completed bachelor's degree
- Must be able to obtain and retain required Adjuster license
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is required to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec
- 2+ years of experience in Claims or the insurance industry preferred
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Leadership and involvement in extracurricular activities with on campus organizations and/or community, public service or similar activities
- Corporate internship experience or corporate work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing ability
- Confident decision-making abilities
- Time management skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- High learning agility
- Analytical aptitude
- Bilingualism (English & French)
