Job Summary The Rural Program Analyst supports Carina Health Network’s rural-focused program initiatives, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions. This role works closely with Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), and independent rural providers across Colorado to strengthen data quality, enhance analytics use, support performance improvement, and expand the value of Carina’s rural solutions portfolio. The position collaborates extensively with statewide rural health stakeholders, including the Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC), RHCs and CAHs, the Office of eHealth Innovation (OeHI), and the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF),The Rural Program Analyst serves as a liaison between Carina and these partners, demonstrating analytics platforms, supporting program implementations, achieving contract and program objectives, providing ongoing technical assistance, aiding in the administration of Carina’s role on the Rural Connectivity Program, and conducting analyses of rural provider network data. What You’ll Do - Support the implementation and ongoing operations of Carina’s rural health reporting and analytics offerings, including dashboards for RHCs, CAHs, and independent rural providers. - Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for rural providers, state agency partners, and other rural stakeholders on Carina’s reporting and analytics dashboards. - Serve as a liaison with rural health partners, including CRHC, rural provider networks, HCPF Medicaid programs, and OeHI initiatives. - Collaborate with rural providers to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy of reporting within Carina’s analytics platforms. - Develop subject matter expertise in rural health programs and requirements, including Medicaid initiatives, rural value-based care programs, CAH/RHC reporting requirements, Colorado-specific data initiatives, and current topics important to rural health in Colorado and nationally. - Support coordination of data integration needs, user provisioning, cohort management, and system administration activities for Carina’s rural analytics tools. - Work closely with Carina’s internal team: data engineering, business intelligence, project management, and value-based care to ensure high data quality and alignment across rural program initiatives. - Assist in preparing deliverables for grants, rural program reporting requirements, and stakeholder communications. - Facilitate peer-to-peer learning through user groups, stakeholder meetings, and rural provider workgroups. - Provide technical assistance and consultation to support accurate implementation of workflows related to quality measures, operational metrics, and Medicaid program requirements for rural providers. - Independently reviews and analyzes data to identify opportunities for improvement and to share observations with rural provider networks and other stakeholders.     What We’re Looking For - Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field is required. - Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field is preferred. - Experience with rural health data systems and population health analytics tools. - Familiarity with Carina analytics offerings or other healthcare BI/reporting solutions. - Experience working with state agencies (HCPF, OeHI) or rural health associations (CRHC). - Experience with EHR systems common in rural settings (eClinicalWorks, Athena, NextGen, Epic, etc.). - Proficiency in conducting statistical analyses in R. - Experience in preparation and publication of peer-reviewed publications or grey literature. - Familiarity with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. - Ability to travel throughout Colorado to rural provider sites and stakeholder meetings.   Why You’ll Love Working Here - Insured group health, dental, and vison plans (Employer covers 100% of the cost for dental and vision) - Medical and dependent care flexible spending account options - Employer contributions $900 annually towards a Health Reimbursement Employer (HRA) or Health Savings Account (HSA), depending on the health plan selected - 401k retirement plan with up to a 4% employer contribution match  - 100% employer-paid life, AD&D, short-term, and long-term disability plans paid for employees - Free 24/7 access to confidential resources through an employee assistance program (EAP)  - Voluntary benefit plans to complement health care coverage, including accident insurance, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage - 17 days of paid vacation within one year of service - 12 paid sick days accrued by one year of service - 14 paid holidays (which includes two floating holidays) - One paid volunteer day - Employer-paid programs/courses for professional growth and development - Cell phone and internet reimbursement  - Competitive salary and full benefits - Annual, all expenses paid staff retreat - Flexible work (remote or hybrid) - Supportive, mission-driven team - Opportunities to learn and grow EEO Statement Carina Health Network provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
