They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive revenue growth by researching prospective customers, formulating outreach strategies, and identifying sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with account executives to develop and implement effective prospecting strategies
- Conduct high-volume prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to qualify leads
- Schedule discovery meetings and demos for account executives to evaluate prospects' business needs and potential partnership opportunities with Medius
- Conduct needs qualification calls with assigned prospects
- Educate companies on the benefits of AP Automation
- Build a strong foundation for a successful career by acquiring essential skills and knowledge to excel as a salesperson, leader, and executive
- Utilize advanced tech tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo etc., to maximize productivity and output
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with major course work in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field. OR applicable experience with lead generation, cold calling, networking, or other external outreach efforts
- Track record of success prospecting for businesses
- Ability to uncover and understand customer needs
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- A driven and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- CRM experience a plus
- Previous metrics driven role a plus
- Spend Management experience a plus
- Inside sales experience a plus
- Enterprise prospecting experience a plus
