interim and fractional finance and accounting services to growing and transitioning

Syncopated Synergy is growing quickly, and were looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Business
Development Manager who can help take our revenue to the next level.
About the Role
The Business Development Manager will lead growth efforts across the Central and East Coast
markets, with a focus on building out our sales function, developing new business, and
expanding our community and partnership ecosystem. You should be comfortable navigating a
3–6 week sales cycle, managing multiple opportunities at once, and collaborating closely with
internal teams to support new client onboarding. This role is ideal for someone with early-stage
experience and an established network who thrives in building structure, operating with
autonomy, and creating meaningful relationships across their region.
Minimal travel is expected for this role.
Key Objectives
Develop, execute, and oversee a regional sales strategy centered on growth and strong
client satisfaction.
Establish and refine sales processes to build an efficient, high-performing function.
Maintain and grow positive, long-term relationships with clients, referral partners, and
community stakeholders.
Use financial and analytical techniques to enhance sales performance and revenue
outcomes.
Monitor progress against sales targets and help drive the organization toward doubling
revenue within 12 months of hire.
Support the Account Management team with smooth onboarding of new clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct market and industry research to identify opportunities and generate effective
sales solutions.
Promote Syncopated Synergys services to prospective clients through outreach,
presentations, and relationship-building.
Actively participate in team meetings and provide updates to organizational leadership.
Provide feedback and insights to improve sales tools, tactics, and team performance.
Review sales contracts for alignment with legal and corporate standards.
Respond to client inquiries and engage in high-quality, consultative conversations.
Partner with Account Management on the transition and support of new clients.
Preferred Qualifications
5–7+ years of experience in early-stage or high-growth environments.
Demonstrated ability to build a function, department, or process from the ground up.
Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving
environment.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Established professional network outside of Colorado.
Compensation
Base Salary: ~$45,000
First-Year OTE: $90,000+ (base + bonus + commission)
