The Assistant Account Executive in Technology Communications will be responsible for managing day-to-day account tasks, including media relations, tracking, and reporting, while supporting PR campaigns and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain media coverage lists and trackers
- Collaborate with team members to implement plans, and execute PR campaigns, initiatives, & events
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of social media tools
- Prepare client status & activity reports, compile media & competitor coverage, & coordinate pitching
- Assist with research, outlining, writing, editing, & proofreading materials, including media advisories, pitch letters/e-mails, biographies, reports, & fact sheets
- Support new business as needed
Skills
- 0-2 years of experience
- Driven to consistently meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of Public Relations
- Excellent verbal communication, strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, including writing
- Solid grasp of basic public relations tools and how they affect the client
