RemoteAndroid Mobile Developer

NSPARC is seeking an Android Mobile Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of modern, data-driven mobile applications. This role works closely with analytic staff to build, test, and improve production-grade mobile apps.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications
• Write clean, efficient code following programming standards
• Modify and improve existing applications
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation
• Prepare test data and validate software accuracy
• Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs
• Support and maintain legacy code
• Perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying production-grade applications
• Experience with Android frameworks
Required Technical Skills
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOP)
• Java and Kotlin for Android development
• Android SDK
• REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON
• Android Studio
• Unit testing and bug fixing
• Architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, etc.)
• Linux (Intermediate)
• Android (Intermediate)
• Kotlin (Intermediate)
• Android Studio (Intermediate)
Preferred Skills
• iOS development (Beginner to Intermediate)
• Familiarity with package managers (CocoaPods, Carthage, Swift Package Manager)
• XML Views (UI Framework)
• Testing tools such as Espresso and Postman
• Ability to organize and delegate work
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new technologies
