Astrana Health is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Initiatives Analyst to support enterprise-level priorities across growth, operations, performance management, and value-based care enablement. This role involves working directly with cross-functional leaders to drive execution, develop structured insights, and help translate strategic priorities into operational results.
Responsibilities
- Own workstreams within cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through execution
- Develop structured analyses to inform leadership decisions (financial, operational, and performance data)
- Build executive-ready materials including presentations
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Analytics, Network, Contracting, Clinical, and Technology teams to drive alignment and execution
- Identify operational gaps and propose practical, scalable solutions
- Track initiative progress, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed
- Support development of repeatable processes and project management standards across initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, economics, public health, or a related analytical field
- 1-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, healthcare operations, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to independently structure and solve complex problems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Experience working with large, disparate data sets and translating analysis into clear, actionable insights
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive workstreams with limited oversight
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
- Experience in healthcare, MSO operations, or value-based care environments is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with performance metrics, financial modeling, or KPI tracking frameworks
