AI Prompt Engineer / Children’s Book Production Assistant (Print-Ready 6x6 Format)

I am creating a collection of short children’s books organized in sets of ten. Each individual book is 16 pages and follows a consistent format and visual style. I already have written the full text for each book and will provide clear guidance for what should appear on each page. I am looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented contractor who can use AI tools effectively to help transform my text and illustration notes into print-ready, formatted books. This is a paid project and may lead to ongoing work across multiple book sets. Scope of Work • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT and AI image generators) to: • Develop strong, repeatable prompts based on my guidance • Generate and refine page-level illustrations and layouts • Assemble each book into a print-ready 6 x 6 page format • Ensure consistency in: • Character design • Visual style • Layout and spacing • Follow text and illustration notes exactly as provided • Incorporate feedback and revisions through an iterative process Style & Creative Direction • Primary style: consistent, kid-friendly cartoon • Some sets may use a soft watercolor / storybook feel • I will provide clear direction and references ⸻ Collaboration & Timeline • I provide all book text and page-by-page illustration notes • You execute production and layout • We will check in after the first two books • The first 10 books should be completed within one week Clear communication and responsiveness are important. ⸻ Deliverables • Print-ready files formatted for 6 x 6 pages (with proper margins/bleed) • Organized, editable source files (format to be agreed upon) • Final PDFs suitable for printing Ideal Candidate • Strong experience using AI tools for creative production • Comfortable designing prompts and refining AI outputs • Experience with book layout or publishing workflows • Detail-oriented and reliable • Open to feedback and collaborative iteration ⸻ Trial Task I will begin with a paid test (one short book or selected pages) before moving forward with the full 10-book set. ⸻ Legal • NDA required • All work is work-for-hire with full rights transferred upon payment ⸻ Budget Ideal rate is approximately $30/hour, open to discussion based on experience.
