Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to provide diversified secretarial and administrative support for an individual or department. The role involves assisting faculty members, managing calendars, and handling various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative assistance to multiple faculty members
- Maintains faculty calendars, schedules meetings both in person and virtual. Assists with conference registration, travel arrangements and expense reimbursements according to guidelines
- Maintains physician curriculum vitae and Missouri/Illinois licensure
- Assists with physician re-credentialing of hospital privileges every two years
- Prepare correspondence as needed. Assists physician in completing forms, scans and faxes documents, prepares copies as needed, maintains files (electronic and hard)
- Responds to EPIC tasks as needed
- Answers phone and greet visitors; responds to inquiries and provides information using established guidelines or refers to appropriate individual
- Receives, sorts and distributes mail
- Performs other duties as assigned
