About the role: As a Lead Quantitative Product Researcher, you?ll use your experience with surveys and data to help solidify a framework to track usability and sentiment across the guest journey. You will be at the forefront of Target?s evolving digital experience, shaping it for our guests and contributing to business growth. Your work will come to life on Target?s digital touchpoints including web, mobile web, and native applications. You will play a crucial role in driving the product development process, ensuring that our experiences align with user needs, business objectives, and technological feasibility.As a quantitative research expert, you will certify relevance and quality of insights through thoughtful assessment of risk, establishment of clear success criteria, and the use of methodology based on sound quantitative principles and practices. In addition, you will mix advanced survey science with behavioral analysis to design, execute, and communicate strategic research in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Serve as a leader throughout the research project life cycle ? recommending appropriate methodology, scoping, and coordinating the entire process, facilitating in-field research and post-research synthesis through analysisPrioritize and conduct quantitative research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodology across multiple work streams, making sure to work on the right project at the right timePartner closely with qualitative researchers and market researchers to build upon each other's work and develop compelling narratives about research findingsLead synthesis and analysis of research findings ? activating the insights gleaned through surveys and quantitative data identifying key opportunity areas in the context of corporate strategic directionUse your influence to identify and pursue user-centric outcomes within and across productsEffectively facilitate multiple cross functional working teams and collaborate across multiple design and product teamsGuide research process and mentor junior researchersAdvance a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teamsBuild a network of relationships to enable your vision in service of our guest experience and Target as a whole. About you: 7+ years' experience as a product researcher with a strong portfolio showcasing successful case studiesPreferred 4-year degree in Social Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science HCI, or related field.Expert in quantitative research methods, analysis, visualizations and relevant data tools like R/Python and SQLExperience in Quantitative UX Research methods, including survey design and analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to cross functional partners A strong ability to tell compelling stories from data Comfortable with ambiguity and can easily adjust to changing priorities Strong project management skills ? experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects at various stages in the project life cycle. Advanced strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skillsYou balance the need for near-term solutions and long-term visionYou are an expert in communicating how research connects to, serves, and improves business outcomesComfortable speaking to a diverse group of people and leading conversations to uncover research insights. Experience running, recruiting, moderating and analyzing research and thinking strategically about their application. This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as 'Flex for Your Day') work arrangement based on Target's needs.?
