Role Summary
Client is looking for an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in the Mortgage and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, capable of independently driving test planning, strategy, and execution, with deep expertise in SQL, Data Warehouse, and ETL testing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end QA activities including Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Case development
Independently design and execute manual and data-driven test scenarios
Perform Data Warehouse and ETL testing to validate data accuracy and integrity
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation
Collaborate with business, development, and data teams to understand requirements
Identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
Provide clear test reports, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders
Mentor junior QA team members when required
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with Lead responsibilities
Strong experience in Mortgage / Loan / Investment / Fixed Income domain (MANDATORY)
Hands-on expertise in:
SQL (Expert level)
Data Warehouse Testing
ETL Testing
Experience with automation / data tools such as:
DBT
Python
Power BI
Strong understanding of data validation, transformations, and reporting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
