About the Role: Project Manager for Customer Portal Leading the design, development, and rollout of the blithequark community platform project, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners. Defining and implementing community guidelines, onboarding flows, and user engagement features to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. Building foundational processes for content moderation, user management, and feedback collection to ensure the platform remains safe, respectful, and engaging. Community Building and Engagement To drive user adoption and retention, you will develop and execute strategies to attract and engage our target audience, including: Attracting the first wave of users through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and direct outreach efforts. Fostering relationships among members by initiating discussions, organizing virtual events, and incentivizing participation to create a sense of community. Building programs such as ambassador initiatives or user recognition features to sustain long-term engagement and encourage user-generated content. Content Creation and Management To drive discussions, share updates, and amplify user-generated content, you will: Create and curate high-value content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with blithequark's goals and objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community initiatives are aligned with broader blithequark strategies and objectives. Insights and Feedback To inform platform development and improve the user experience, you will: Act as the primary voice of the community, gathering actionable feedback to improve the blithequark platform and user experience. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user growth, engagement, and satisfaction, and use insights to refine strategies and optimize platform performance. Governance and Safety To ensure the blithequark platform remains a safe, inclusive, and respectful space, you will: Enforce community guidelines and implement necessary tools for moderation to maintain a positive and supportive environment. About You: Ideal Candidate Profile To be successful in this role, you should have: 3+ years of experience in community management projects, including launching or scaling a platform from scratch, with a proven track record of success. Proven success in building and growing online communities with measurable outcomes, such as increasing user engagement or driving business growth. Essential Qualifications In addition to experience and a proven track record, you should possess: Strong project management skills to oversee end-to-end platform development, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to engage diverse audiences, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency with community management tools (e.g., Zendesk, Circle, Discourse) and analytics platforms, with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize platform performance. A data-driven mindset, with the ability to measure and improve blithequark community KPIs, and use insights to refine strategies and drive business growth. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, with the ability to collaborate effectively and drive results. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in community management, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
