Job Overview The Pharmacy Technician and Front Store Supervisor (FSS) role builds upon the skills and responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician and is focused on supporting the Pharmacists while being a role model, mentor, and guide for the Pharmacy Technician team. This position provides an opportunity, in a leading retail pharmacy setting, to succeed in a dynamic, high-impact, patient-centered role and to positively impact the lives of others. Pharmacy Technician and FSS associates must ensure that they can serve the pharmacy needs of our patients as well as meet all regulatory compliance standard requirements. They must demonstrate ethical leadership and consistently maintain patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacy leadership team (Pharmacy Team Leader, Pharmacy Manager, and/or Pharmacist) with assigned administrative tasks, which may include reviewing store communications and completing tasks (email, myWork, etc.), reviewing demand activity in STARsource, tracking the completion of pharmacy team compliance training and AP tests, and similar activities. Manage the scheduling of pharmacy support staff, including optimal generation of schedule using mySchedule, tracking and planning coverage for time off requests, and informing application of payroll codes by the Team Leader or Pharmacy Manager. Supervise pharmacy inventory management, including serving as the point person for annual inventories, resets (e.g., Rx Planograms), and pharmacy-related aspects of AP Heartbeat Checks. Direct pharmacy orders, and train the pharmacy support team to the highest standards of daily inventory management functions, including cycle counts, restocking, individual returns/outdates, cooler organization, holding bins, etc. Collaborate with the pharmacy management team and local Mentor to coordinate the onboarding, training, and development of newly hired team members in the pharmacy, including responsibility for ensuring thorough completion of all LearnRx modules and on-the-job training (OJT) sessions and offering daily support for new pharmacy hires throughout their onboarding. Support the development of all-out store management initiatives by setting an example of exceptional performance for the team, particularly in areas of WeCARE workflow best practices, customer service, and patient care; inspiring and motivating the entire store team to adopt change, including workflow improvements and new product/service offerings. Demonstrate a growth mindset for oneself and the team; providing constructive feedback continually and consciously to all colleagues, to support the improvement of the workplace and team dynamics. Essential Qualifications 1-3 years of relevant work experience Must be at least 18 years old 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician High school diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED) required State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state Regular and reliable attendance Availability to work 30 hours or more per week, including some evenings and weekends to support business needs Attention and Focus or Ability to concentrate on a task for a period without being distracted Customer Service Orientation Effectively seek ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner Notice and grasp clients' reactions, and respond appropriately Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant work experience Ability to work in the home store and across the market in different locations to address business needs Experience as a front store supervisor National Certification considered a plus Education Equivalent Experience - Preferred High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED) - Required Other Certification(s): Requirements vary by state - Preferred Other License(s): State-level licensure requirements vary by state - Required Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At bolthires, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
