About the Role We are looking for an IT Support Associate with strong customer service skills and entry-level technical expertise to provide basic IT systems support to end users through chat, email, and phone. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving computer system issues, documenting requests, and ensuring timely resolutions. Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve a high volume of IT-related issues or questions from internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner. Escalate technical problems to appropriate teams when necessary, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Accurately document all customer interactions in the tracking system, maintaining detailed records of issues and resolutions. Assist in real-time issue resolution to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction, working effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Stay current on policies, procedures, and product updates to provide accurate support, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Provide occasional after-hours support via on-call rotation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization. Qualifications and Education To be successful in this role, you will need: An Associate degree in a computer technology field preferred, or equivalent experience and training. Minimum 3 years of computer systems-related experience, with a strong understanding of technical principles and concepts. 2 years of proprietary software support experience, with a proven track record of resolving technical issues and providing excellent customer service. 1 year of Windows operating system troubleshooting experience, with a strong knowledge of Windows OS, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. Experience with JURIS or claims management applications preferred, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Technical Skills The successful candidate will have: Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Outlook, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Proficiency in basic troubleshooting and system navigation, with a strong understanding of technical principles and concepts. Excellent technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Professional Skills In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
