Experience Designer - Learning & People Development

We are hiring an Experience Designer to support our global learning experiences. An Experience Designer blends adult learning theory with diverse design disciplines to translate business objectives into observable behaviors that strengthen our culture and enhance employee capabilities. With design thinking as their guide, they define problems, identify needs, ideate, test, and deliver flexible, global solutions. This is a full-time position that will be part of the Learning & People Development team, US-based remote. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to - • Partner with Strategy Design to define desired business outcomes and draft problem statements explaining who is affected, how, and why. • Lead needs analysis to identify skill gaps and proactively seek stakeholder input to define user/project outcomes. • Identify, draft, and present design options that offer creative, accessible, and inclusive experiences. • Produce high-quality, engaging, human-centered learning experiences, including a mix of digital learning and live practice opportunities. • Direct and guide internal and external Subject Matter Experts in developing new content and contextualizing existing content. • Collaborate with Strategy Design and PM&O to ensure seamless development and delivery. • Conduct ongoing content quality reviews with Strategy Design and PM&O to evaluate and refine the relevancy, efficacy, impact, and scalability of learning solutions. • Revise content based on learner feedback, stakeholder needs, and best practices and research in adult learning theory. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000 - $280,000 Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
